  Letter From the Founder:

TickleMePink's Founder a Two-Time Survivor of Metastatic Breast Cancer.  

"I have always been one to support the cause and rally the troops for breast cancer awareness.  Every October, for 7 years, I was heading up a team for the “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer” walk with the American Cancer Society.  It was something I firmly believed in and I supported whole heartedly.  But then the “pink movement” became really real."

 

 

It is often said that God has a sense of humor.  You make your plans and then tell Him about it.  I consider myself to be a very organized and prepared person.  You know, I’m the one…if life gives you lemons, make lemonade.  There was always a plan B to the ram in the bush. On the first day of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, my world turned 50 shades of Pink.  I heard the word “cancer” coming from my doctor on the other end of my phone.  At that moment, I didn’t know if I should cry, get mad, or laugh.  I just knew that in my arsenal of lemonade stands, plan b’s and ram bushes, breast cancer was not on the list.  So, what does a certified personal trainer, fitness instructor, and health enthusiast do?  She puts her faith to work!  I dug deep, kept my mind strong, and my body moving.  Through 6 rounds of chemotherapy, 9 weeks of radiation, surgery and recovery, I kept moving…and still moving!
